Getting to MCH Safari Camp

The best means of access is via Scheduled Air Charter with FedAir, offering flights from Johannesburg International twice daily. Additionally, there are daily Scheduled Charters to KMIA, facilitating connections to destinations such as Vic Falls, Cape Town and Mozambique.

Flight & Road Transfer

Take a commercial flight with Airlink or CemAir to Hoedspruit from Johannesburg (1hr) or Cape Town (2hr 30min). Road Transfers can be booked from Hoedspruit (approx 80 minutes drive). Air Charters from Hoedspruit to Garonga’s airstrip are also possible (20 minute flight).

Bring your own plane

Garonga has its own landing strip.  If you fly you are welcome to fly into camp and leave your plane on the strip while you enjoy your safari.

Description: A hard gravel strip running parallel to a large accessible area.
Obstructions: Southern end – Large hill on approach plus some trees 50m from the strip Northern end

On the western side is a very nice and large house – it’s mine; please miss it!
